Standard rehearsals are on most Mondays from 7:30-9:30pm. No audition is required.
We rehearse in the Van Dyke Performance Space on the ground floor in the Greensboro Cultural Arts Center at 200 N. Davie St. If it's your first time attending, we'd love to hear from you before you come. Just contact us here using the form below, or Meredith.Gornto@greensboro-nc.gov.

Get all your band SWAG from shirts and bags to mugs and even a great sticker!
Each semester a registration form and a $25 participation fee is collected. We recommend you come early the first night of each rehearsal period so you can receive your music folder.
​
In order to perform in each concert, there is a minimum number of rehearsals that we ask you to attend. This number varies per season, depending on the number of weeks we have available between performances, but is delineated as 3/4th's of the rehearsals with the dress rehearsal as a required attendance. For our summer season, we also ask performers to purchase our black Greensboro Concert Band shirt for $20.

How to Find Us/Where to Park: Greensboro Cultural Arts Center

To find the rehearsal area at the Greensboro Arts Center, here is our venue address, plus some helpful parking and entry information:

200 N Davie Street
Greensboro, NC 27401
Most of us park in the N. Church Street parking deck, right next to the Greensboro Public Library and LeBauer Park. You must pull a ticket to get into the garage, but parking is free after 6pm. To get to the building, exit the garage on the opposite side from where you entered the structure. Follow the sidewalk to the back doors and go into the first door on the right.
If you come into the building from the Davie Street side, you must go down one level and then we would be in the last door on the left.
